# Create an account

> Register a customer account and understand the information used by the KmerHosting platform.

A KmerHosting account is the identity used across the public website, customer console, cart, orders, invoices, services, domains, notifications, storage, and developer keys.

## Registration sequence

1. Open `kmerhosting.com/register`.
2. Enter the requested profile details and email address.
3. Choose a unique password and store it in a password manager.
4. Submit the form and continue to email verification.
5. Complete onboarding after the verified session is established.

## Country, language, and billing context

The website supports multiple languages and regional price books. Country and account billing context can influence the currency shown by pricing and billing pages. Existing account billing history and wallet currency may take priority over a new browser location.

## Security expectations

* Do not reuse a hosting control-panel password as the customer password.
* Do not share the customer account with contractors; use separate operational credentials where possible.
* Keep the email inbox secure because verification and password recovery depend on it.
* Treat browser sessions on shared computers as sensitive and log out when finished.
