# Account onboarding

> Describe your role and workload so KmerHosting can recommend a practical hosting path.

Onboarding is shown when the account has not completed the required first-use profile. It records the user role and the type of project being hosted.

## How recommendations are interpreted

* Business websites, blogs, portfolios, and light e-commerce usually fit Shared Hosting.
* APIs, server applications, and infrastructure workloads usually fit Tiny VPS or VPS Hosting.
* Learning and test projects can start small and move to a larger service later.
* Custom requirements should be reviewed through Custom Hosting or support.

## Re-entering the console

After onboarding is saved, the account should be redirected to `console.kmerhosting.com`. The session cookie is shared across the KmerHosting parent domain so the public website and console recognize the same login.
