# Billing overview

> Understand account credit, orders, invoices, renewals, and service billing currency.

KmerHosting billing combines account credit, orders, invoices, service renewal records, and external top-up settlement.

## Core records

* **Account credit:** wallet balance used by supported checkout and renewal operations.
* **Order:** requested items and total before or during payment.
* **Invoice:** billing document with paid, pending, or overdue state.
* **Service:** the activated or pending operational resource.
* **Incoming invoice:** renewal-related billing record shown by the console.

## Currency behavior

The platform supports regional price books and account billing context. A top-up can be displayed in the wallet currency while CamerPay settlement occurs in XAF. The platform stores enough context to credit the correct wallet amount after a confirmed webhook.
