# Refunds

> Understand how to request review of a KmerHosting payment or service charge.

Refund eligibility depends on the applicable service terms, provisioning state, payment method, and the reason for the request.

## Prepare the request

Include the account email, order number, invoice number, payment reference, amount, currency, date, and a concise explanation.

## Do not create duplicate payments

When a payment appears delayed, verify the provider status and account credit before paying again. A delayed webhook can make a successful payment appear pending temporarily.

## Processing

External payment providers can require additional time to return funds after KmerHosting approves a refund. Keep the original payment method active until processing is complete.
