# Operate a Custom Hosting service

> Understand activation, access, and support boundaries for customer-specific hosting allocations.

Custom Hosting does not have one universal technical recipe because the service is defined by the assigned plan.

## Before deployment

1. Confirm the service is active.
2. Review the assigned tier, domains, storage, databases, email accounts, and access method.
3. Confirm which actions are self-service and which require support.
4. Record the renewal date and billing currency.

## Support requests

Include the customer ID, service ID, domain, expected outcome, and any deadline. Never place passwords in the support subject or public issue.
