# Manage a service

> Read service state, access credentials, renew, and request support from the customer console.

Service pages expose different controls depending on the service type.

## Common information

* Service type and tier.
* Active or pending state.
* Purchase and billing currency.
* Activation and renewal dates.
* Associated domains.
* Credentials or provider access when applicable.
* Renewal and auto-renewal controls.

## Credential handling

Passwords and tokens should be revealed only when needed, stored in a password manager, and rotated after accidental exposure. Screenshots must cover every secret value.

## Support context

Include the service ID, service type, domain or hostname, timestamp, and exact error. Do not send the root password or API key.
