# Troubleshoot login and console redirects

> Resolve stale cookies, verification issues, and redirects between kmerhosting.com and console.kmerhosting.com.

A successful login should redirect from `kmerhosting.com/login` to `console.kmerhosting.com` and remain authenticated.

## Homepage shows a profile but console returns to login

1. Sign out.
2. Remove site data for `kmerhosting.com` and `console.kmerhosting.com`.
3. Open a private window.
4. Sign in again.
5. Confirm the session cookie is scoped to the KmerHosting parent domain, uses path `/`, and is Secure and HttpOnly.

## Other checks

* Complete email verification.
* Complete onboarding when redirected.
* Confirm the browser allows cookies.
* Disable extensions that rewrite cookies or redirects for the test.
* Check the account status card.
