Safe change process

  1. Export or record the current values.
  2. Change one logical service at a time.
  3. Use realistic TTL values.
  4. Verify the authoritative nameservers.
  5. Test website, email, and verification records after propagation.
Deleting or replacing MX, SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records can interrupt email delivery even when the website continues to work.
